Excellent food The salad bar was very fresh and some of the salad dressings like there ranch is made in house. I usually don’t order steak bc the flavor I get at home is usually not there. There’s stakes are very tender and flavorful. Ask for Celine for your server she is awesome. Don’t forget to ask for the strawberry pie. It’s like a milkshake in pie form my wife said
We went for a private event, however this place is a must try! The salad bar was probably my favorite part. The service was great. The have a a large variety of bourbon, whiskey and wines. Great selections. Entrees are great, and their desserts are fabulous!
We had 4 adults and a 2 yo. Food was very good. Two got steaks which were excellent. One got salmon which was very good. One got a burger which was excellent. Desserts are made in house and are excellent. Two glasses of wine and one appetizer. They have a salad bar that some meals come with. Our total cost was 185.00. Our server was very nice, attentive and helpful and gave spot on recommendations.We made a reservation the day before but had to take a 5pm seating. That was fine with a 2yo. The place opens at 5pm and there was a line of people at the door with reservations. We were seated fast and efficiently so not a big deal at all. I would recommend a reservation. Food came out pretty fast. I was expecting a fancier interior but that’s on me. I would definitely go back.
Perfect lunch spot. Able to carry a conversation. I ordered the Ribeye Steak sandwich, cook perfectly, tender, and juicy. The side salad added this breath of freshness. My friend got the burger with those scrumptious broasted potatoes crispy, seasoned outside and buttery inside. He stayed the most excellent potatoes he's had in a long time.
Staying at the inn walk down. Here for 3 night and probably coming here every night. Food so good great service Celine she has been here 12 years. Great drinks. They have a salad bar and a dessert tray. No one has those anymore. They have homemade ranch. See you tomorrow!
Clayton Steakhouse is a fantastic spot. We went in for lunch and the experience was five stars all the way. The food was very good and definitely lived up to the reputation. It’s easily one of the best places in town for a high-quality meal. Great atmosphere and even better steak. We will definitely be back.
Hands down the best steak and service around, there isn't even a close second. If you've never dined at the Clayton Steakhouse, do yourself a favor, you will not be disappointed. We were immediately greeted upon arrival and taken to our table (it was Mother's Day, so we had a reservation). We've eaten here a few times, it doesn't matter what you order it's always cooked to perfection. No other establishment can rival their salad bar, if they don't have it, you don't need it. For Mother's Day they offered a shrimp cocktail appetizer, it was excellent and the shrimp were huge. We both ordered ribeye, which were cooked to perfection. You can tell it's a "family" environment, the servers all help one another, are very knowledgeable about the menu and always very pleasant. Their bar tenders are top notch and the consistency of their cocktails never changes. They have a large selection of bourbon, some great specialty drinks and an ample choice of draught beer. The Clayton Steakhouse is the perfect location for a quick lunch or a dinner meal.
Today was our first visit, and we had a wonderful experience. The staff was very courteous and friendly. The salad bar was excellent, especially the house-made Ranch dressing, which was delicious! The steak was also enjoyable. Don't forget to save room for dessert—their pies are absolutely amazing. We will definitely return!
Awesome low key steakhouse right in heart of Clayton. This is a very unassuming place, quite casual, but with excellent high-end food. We each ordered steak amd each was cooked perfectly amd was delicious. And most meals come with unlimited salad bar which is healthy and good. Would recommend this place amd would go there again next time we are in town.
Friend took his mom out for her birthday here! We had a grand time and wonderful service thanks to our server Erica! 10/10! Would come here again! ALSO unlimited salad bar is definitely a big plus. We loved the vibes in here too.
